Anyone know where I can get a gridded screen WITH a prism? I know hoada makes screens for the 5D (that work in the 5Dii) but it doesn't look like them make something that ALSO has the grid?

anyone know of someone making one that has both? I had one back when I had my 1Dii, and would love one for my 5Dii.

ok this may be a stupid question, but how is a focusing screen nearly as much as the camera itself? or am i reading the price wrong?

5DmkII, Elan7ne, 430ex, 100 f2.8 macro, and 24-105L, and nifty fifty. 16-35 or 70-200 not sure yet...

The 5D screens will not work properly in a MKII.
Make sure you buy a screen specifically for the 5D MKII.

Currency is NT...I can't figure that out out, even OANDA does not have a two-character foreign currency conversion code.

[edit] the web site for that ad shows 'Taiwan Dollar'...today 1 US Dollar = 33.69309 Taiwan Dollar

My two after market ones do. So some do. My canon ones look the same but I have had no reason to try them in each other.

Are they aftermarket 5DMKII screens or 5D.
It`s my understanding that the 5D screens don't work due to some changes in the view finder/focus system.
I haven't verified this, but I remember hearing about it early on.

Check www.brightscreen.com (external link) They can custom make one if they don't have it.

My after market ones are Haoda 5D screens (I have two). They work the same on both bodies. Makes me happy that some accessories carry over.

I have the grid based focusing screens in both my 5D Mark II and my 1D Mark III, which are the ef-D and the ec-D respectively. The run for about 30-45 bucks, depending on where you pick them up from.

They work great! I love them, obviously. They truly help with lining things up on the fly. I highly recommend picking one up.

bottom left of the site lets you pick USD. They're $81.56 when converted to USD.
