Make sure you buy a screen specifically for the 5D MKII. My two after market ones do. So some do. My canon ones look the same but I have had no reason to try them in each other.

It`s my understanding that the 5D screens don't work due to some changes in the view finder/focus system. I haven't verified this, but I remember hearing about it early on. My after market ones are Haoda 5D screens (I have two). They work the same on both bodies. Makes me happy that some accessories carry over.
