Senior shoot

Here's a couple from a shoot I did yesterday.

Okay, first, I took a look at your site and it is extremely easy to move around. So great job there.
Second, the pictures arent bad.I find the red on the face a bit distracting. You are mixing ambient and flash light pretty well i think.
The second one seems like the flash is a little hot on the lower left side(camera left) . Also he looks a smidge stoned.
Your stuff on your site looks very good though. Keep at it.

I like the first one. Good balance with flash and ambient light.
Only nit is the harsh shadow behind his head. Shadow edge looks so sharp so I guess you used speedlite on this?

Balance you ambient a little more - either up the iso or slowdown your shutter speed to get more from the ambient

Thanks for the comments guys. I under-exposed the BG on purpose, because that is the look I was going for. This was shot with a speedlight.

Although I have to agree, the second one is just a tad too bright.
