:D

You know, it's been hard to get to this point. Hence the delay. I knew the story, it hit me late last week. And I also wrote two different starts, alternative to this one (I supposse you might see them in the Bonus Features if you purchase the Bluray ;) ).

The first version, was generally the same, but I had spent about seven pages (3000 words) explaining the agfa machine, and how Sam went to get it but francisco never showed up, and then tried to get it by himself on his bike, and then ended up putting it with some help onto some abandoned 60s pickup, and having his expiring AAA membership tow the truck to the shop for free, thus putting the machine in front of the biz. But the problem with that was, that it had taken me well over an entire post limit for this forum, just to explain one of fifty events that were happening that day. I was partly eager to get on and introduce the other characters, and on the other hand I was enjoying writing down to every last detail. I realized that for a book, it is not bad to have a few pages explaining things in detail, because it is in those details that one learns the idiosincracies of the main characters, finds human flaws, and also common links that makes them feel closer to them.
But for a POTN-sized story, I figured I needed to move a bit faster. I am pretty sure that this was the fatal mistake of Canon he wrote. I think I was writing a book, and so eventually my thoughts overcame the written words, and past that point it was absolutely irreconciliable. (If you think of a story, and forget it, you cannot think it once more again, and ever feel it is half as good as the first one). In other words, I had envisioned a story of a 30 day trip in which I thought there would be 30 posts or chapters, but then every morning was a new mood and emotion, and as I kept writing I added more events, made it more detailed, introduced more objects, which ended up -time wise- from spending 2-3hs writing a chapter, to 2-3 days writing a single one. And then having to come up with the very next one, which could not have less details. Exhaustion probably got the best of me at that point.

So anyhow, I am hoping to see in the future some tweaking of this, some posts might be very detailed -perhaps a single experience between sam and a customer- and others quite dialogue filled, and more action based.

In the end, I do hope that you will dictate what you liked best, and provide some feedback. :)

Mario, I actually enjoyed Canon Manor for the detail you put into it ;)

Thanks for sharing the stories in your head Mario.

I may try, now that some of the main characters have been introduced, to tell a bit in more detail a bit of the story. Just for a bit, see if it makes a positive difference. :)

The last thing I remember was a trip he planned involving people at the lower end of the economic scale. He was asking about ways to disguise his gear to avoid theft. I hope that went OK for him, I miss him too.

I devoted myself to the life of engineering for a couple of years, and I am now moving back to the right town, and restarting my photo misadventures, both in real life and fiction as well. (So far I can't really be sure which one will be more amusing). :)

If I dissapear again, you get my Canon gear guys.
