I picked up three three canon cameras...in checking the 1Ds Mk III and 1D Mk III both had their view finder "guard/eyepiece" in a little plastic bag...the 5D MK II did not.

Now I know it is an odd question but when unpacking your 5D Mk II, was the viewfinder "guard/eyepiece" in a bag or already on the camera?

Thanks it just seemed odd and I couldn't remember what the other ones of past purchase were like.
