Well, this new guy on the hip hop/rap scene came to my school here at PSU yesterday for an outdoor concert. He was pretty good, but I think he's just going to be a goofy fad.

I managed to get up to the barrier and get some pretty good shots. I know he is a bit blown in some, but no PP b/c I can't do PP yet lol.

Let me know what you think. BTW, does anyone know why I might be getting those vertical lines in the 2nd two?

Some of the images look rather soft. What lens were you using?

I was using the 85 1.8 @ 2.8. I know the last was a bit soft, but I think it focused on his pants rather than face.

He was moving around a lot so I missed focus a bit, but even on ones that don't look bad, it looks soft. Not sure why.

Agreed on the softness factor. 1 and 2 caught good moments though.
