There is something about this image that makes me think that it is scanned from the film, but it is not...
Maybe lack of contrast and white balance looks a little off too...

Interesting. My son is in Sitka at the Alaska State Trooper training. I'll be visiting for a couple of days in a few weeks for his graduation.

Thanks for the comments. I do need to learn how to set and adjust custom white balance settings. I am not sure when that chapter is coming up.

The telephoto makes this appear quite different in the image. The rim of the volcano is 16 miles beyond the bridge and is on another island separated from us by 9 miles of Sitka Sound.
