The brown truck came this evening with a brand spanking new 1DMIII. How fun is opening the box and then opening the box. I was surprised at how light it is compared to previous 1D bodies. Shutter count 0000. :) How cool is that. :D I am going to shoot the mandatory duck tomorrow with my 200 f/1.8 for 0001. I will post it up. Now if I could just find someone to buy my 1DMarkIIN with only 2216 clicks.;)

New 1DMarkIII -- Ducks as Promised

Of course I get to the lake, bolt the 200 mm f/1.8 on the 1DIII, get ready to shoot number 0001, which of course a Duck is the proper christening --- I am nervous as hell, and I am thinking, how freeking fun is this? I pull the trigger just as the Duck moved --- LOL

The second image, same duck, that one was the one I wanted to be 0001, alas it is 0002.
