I bought a G9 for my wife as she has no interest in an DSLR. I was wondering what mode (AV, P, Auto) that most experienced G9 users favor. So far, her shots aren't all that great, but I'll never get her to use manual mode.

May 02, 2009 14:17 | #3 Mmy most-used mode to shoot my G9 is in AV mode (with manual focus), as I do a lot of closup work, and AV lets me quickly get the DOF I want and the camera takes over the rest. I do use Auto alot when I'm just snapshooting, and there is nothing wrong with that - it does a beautiful job in auto mode too. I hope she enjoys it. my little gallery
