Your daughter is beautiful ! I feel for you and will understand the stress of having a teenage daughter one of these days.......I don't look forward to it ! I have 4 girls and want them to remain young forever. I know my daughters are gonna hate me when they get into high school, at least I'll get to have some fun tormenting their boyfriends, LOL

You got your hands full it appears, just tell the kid that you... " aren't afraid to go back to prison " lol. Have you ever seen the movie "Bad Boys 2 " ?

I like the pics but they seem a bit soft to me, could be my monitor though.

they seem wonderful, but perhaps a little soft. THe first one he seems sharper than her, and since his ear is sharp too im not sure its a thin DOF thing going on. Anyways they are quite usable as is and very nice.

In the first one, the guy seems to be more in focus.

Thanks for the comments and concern. And you are right. I do get worried. However, I have six daughters to be concerned about. This is daughter number two. I prepared for these moments by winning some shooting competitions several years ago. :D

I completely agree. The date was late and I was in a hurry. Using the 85 f/1.4 was a bit tricky and my DOF was off somewhat.

On top of being rushed I'm trying a new portrait plugin in photoshop. Just learning. PP is not my strong point.

DOF at 1.4 was a little too soft. I've got four more daughters to get better with. :)

Nice shots. I agree that the first one with the shallow DoF your daughter is just slightly OFF, but still beautiful. I have 4 sons, so I'm the mother of the boy who has to behave himself. :)

Suzie,

Thank you for your comments. And we parents of girls appreciate all the good boys you raise. ;)

Great stuff beautiful girl a little soft though I don't think it is OOF as much as just too shallow DOF.

Last one is stunning. She is also really beautiful as well. I would like to see other white balance options for this one as well - seems a touch warm.

WOW your daughter is stunning..I feel sorry for you as a fellow father of a young lady =). The PS work is way too much, she's a natural beauty...let her shine, no need for all that PS work.
