went to a local park today, wasn't the most successful outing but I did get a few good shots

I'd say you got a few GREAT shots. These are beautiful.

I had some fun with the Swallows on the beach today, nearly got whiplash trying flight shots.

I didn't even bother trying in flight shots of them I was getting dizzy just watching them without the camera lol

Excellent job on these. I really like the Yellow Warblers, although the swallows are great too.

Using the 1D again? Looks like some hot spots on the tree swallows, in the whites. That needs some - exposure compensation. Nice shots though. Great poses.

yup still trying ;) I am not getting them as crisp as with the 40D yet, the buttons still throw me for a loop sometimes :)

yeah I had used recovery in lightroom, but I did not do the last one with the 2 of them on there and its obvious :) I dont think I did the first one either
