Hi there,
I bought an internal 1 tb hard drive to be used on the USB internal hard drive dock.
The question i have is how to i format this Internal drive since it is an OEM version of the WD 1 TB drive.
Thanks

On a Mac HFS+ (Extended) with journaling. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

I plugged in to the docking station but in my computer screen , nothing poped up. I guess the computer could not read it since it is not formated ( internal drive) . Any idea how I could format this drive? canon 5 d mark 2, canon 50 prime 1.2, canon 17-40 L , 580EXII , 430 EXII

If not you can check thru the computer management via the control panel. Hi Titus, canon 5 d mark 2, canon 50 prime 1.2, canon 17-40 L , 580EXII , 430 EXII

In there you will see a Disk Management section. If you look at the bottom half it will list your disks with a graphical display of how they are formatted. One disk should completely be Unallocated Space. Right-click on that one and click Format in the menu that pops up.
