How do I preserve EXIF data?

When ever I edit my photo's in CS2 I loose ethe EXIF data of my photo's?

I usually shoot in raw and have to convert my images into .DNG's using Adobe NG convertor.


So any ideas's anyone?

doesnt tell me anything!

When do you lose the EXIF? Do you have it after you convert to DNG? Does it go away after converting to JPEG or something else?

I am fairly certain that save for web strips EXIF in older versions of Photoshop.

When are you checking the EXIF? If it's after saving, and you do a Save for Web, that's what's stripping the EXIF out.

That will be it then!

How do you save a DNG other than going to save for web?

You select Save As and choose which file format from the drop down list-- Tif, JPG, PSD, etc. If you choose JPG, you will also be asked to select the level of compression.
