Quite a learning experience. Thanks to everyone from the wedding discussion section for just about everything I've applied to my first. Certainly need alot more experience and practice but overall Id like to think I scored a solid B+ . shot last weekend. I thought I would share and get a critique from everyone.

yes I like #2 alot myself. probably one of the best from the day. From my first wedding experience however, I learned I probably should have used a fill flash because the dark sockets around the eyes. Just one of those times when I thought I didnt need a flash, but after scrutinizing the picture pp , I came to realize a few things I would have done differently. Its one of those things that could have made a great picture into a perfect picture.

I need to learn more as we all do.

any other critiques as I am trying to improve
...color? composition? post processing? white balance?

Very nice! At least an A Minus!!! ;)

They all looked great. #3 might have benefited from a reflector on the dark side of the bride. But the rest are really good!

Good job. For next time use your window light more on no3, i.e. get the bride to turn more towards the window and also postion yourself closer to the light and a bit higher if poss and then get her to look at you (shoot) and then out the window(shoot).
Cheers Rob
