I haven't posted pics in here for quite a while. Heck, I haven't posted pics in general for quite a while :rolleyes:. I've been lurking in the astronomy section asking questions and learning. In any case, I got out today and got a decent shot of one of our irises. I still have my kit lens, and had to crop the image, but I'm still planning on getting a true macro at some point!

I love the colors, but I wish the beard was a little bit sharper. Played with it in PP, but was never able to get exactly what I wanted. May try again in the next couple of days to see what I get!

Thank you Brian. I may try to go out and try again with this flower as it is a little bit brighter outside. We've had nothing but rain and dreary weather for the past several weeks.
