Shot a wedding last Saturday on the Northern Tablelands of NSW. Here's a few images for C&C. It was a very rushed afternoon. We had about one hour for formal photos and the rest were candids of the ceremony and reception.

Ozi.

1. ISO800 no flash in a dingy hall.

2. ISO 640 no flash allowed at this point, and in a dingy church building.

3. ISO 400 no flash

4. ISO 400 with flash

5. Canon 10-22mm + bounced flash in normal sedan

6. I missed the focus on this one. At least the car is sharp.

Instead of loving things and using people, why not use things and love people? :-)

I think it's a lovely set, I'd sharpen some of them and boost contrast, they look like they haven't been processed at all.

In #8 though my attention is drawn to the bridesmaid and the groomsman that are looking and each other smiling...:) Also, be careful with cutting off fingers and toes...ouch.

I was expecting to see a wedding from about 6 months ago. It is springtime here!

Correct. They haven't been processed as yet. (I am the great procrastinator and put off processing for as long as I can).

As for the fingers and toes, good point. In actual fact, this was a group pose for the videographer and I just happened to snap a frame at the time, and I had no time to get the crop right. Nevermind, these things happen.

Just think, I had one hour and fifteen minutes for photos, and I had to share that time with the videographer!!

I didn't know people wore dresses like that in weddings anymore. eesh.

The outdoor ones look really nice - good white balance and lighting. However, the white balance needs to be fixed on all the indoor shots!! The shot you took of them in the church where the groom is moving the veil - that could have been nice from a lower point of view. If you could have gotten the window light behind them, I am sure those shots would have come out more interesting. Also watch your negative space.

Thanks Nicole for the comments. Yes, it would have been good to move around the platform and try for some different angles. The minister would not allow any photos until AFTER the kiss etc. The inside shots are not great, they were just capturing the moment.

I haven't got around to post processing these as yet.

As for the dresses, this was a farmer's daughter's wedding. All the dresses were handmade. The bride's dress was, well, very plain, but at least it wasn't one of the current breed of strapless bridal gowns. They all look the same at the moment, and do absolutely nothing for any girl that is plump (or more). The more skin you have, the more it needs to be covered up.
