Hi guys

Went to the car show here at Oensingen on sunday. Usual problems, bright sunshine, highly polished cars, lots of punters :-)

All pics taken with Canon 5D and 24-70 L. Exif intact.

Full gallery (external link) 7 pages, 105 pics.

Enjoy, Chris

32 views and not a single comment, hmmmm. Wonder if I'm really that bad, or just so fantastic there's nothing to say :-)

Good "show shots".

32 views and not a single comment, hmmmm.

Sad, really, but get used to it. Some days you can't buy a comment & I'm getting to the point that I don't comment often for someone who hasn't given me a <bump> in return.

Oh, I'm used to it, just injecting a little humour into the day. I know how quick the list builds with new threads sometimes, othertimes, just nothing to say that hasn't already been said :-)

Its nice to see show report style pictures that are sharp and don't have poor composition/half a bumper missing or something :)

That 4 door Hardtop 57 has to be a rather rare sighting. I can't remember the last time I saw one. I like several of the shots plus it looks like there are some rather nice cars there. The Mustang & 63 Corvette both look very nice.

Thanks for the comments guys.
I'm not sure what all of the cars were, I just love the old classic cars. There were certainley plenty on show, and I didn't go to the second area with another couple of hundered cars. It's suprising how many US classics are over here, but in summer they seem to come out of the woodwork.
End of the month is the next show, this time not just US cars. That sun better be shining :-)

You have another shot of a 4 door hardtop in the full album, which is either a 59 or 60 Chevy (light blue). That's rather impressive to see pair of 4 door hardtops at a show where they are considered "foreign cars". There are a lot of other rare American cars at that show too when you consider that very few of them see the streets very often over here these days. There are some nice old Cadillacs which by European standards must seem gigantic.

Thanks guys.
Photosguy, I would stay later, but unfortunately, the cars don't :-) Most of these are 1 day events, and most dissapear around 1700, as some have a few hours drive home ready for work monday.

cicopo, You're right, some of these seem huge by our standards, but nice to see anyway. It seems that there is a lot of money available to keep these in top notch condition over here. Classic cars are a real big hobby here, not that I'll complain. Just wish I could afford one :-)

Ask around. There may be some informal evening meets. These guys don't like to stay home in the Summertime! ;)

PhotosGuy, this is Switzerland, everyone has to be home, in bed by 2100 on a sunday :-)
Most of these events start early, but I refuse to get up early enough to get there to catch the morning light just as they arrive, me being lazy on my day off :-)
Nice links in previous reply, thanks, working through them slowly.
