Any way to tether a 1ds II with a vista 64 bit laptop

Canon does not seem to have firewire drivers for this camera in x64 yet. Anyone been able to find a workaround?

I tried it a few months ago and it wouldn't work on my 1DsII and the manual for version 2.4 shows on page 2 that it still won't work with Vista 64-bit. And of course my other PC with XP doesn't have Firewire. And the new PC that will arrive tomorrow has Vista 64-bit. Go figure.

What laptop do you have?

Also, Highcountry, have you considered purchasing a firewire card?

If you don't already know, you plug it into one of your PCI Expansion slots, they shouldn't cost to much either,
