Does anyone have any experience with this lens on a 40 D or other crop?

From what i heard, its actually pretty good on a crop, its less so on full frame [Really soft corners]

I like it and have it on my camera about 30% of the time. It doesn't appear to be a very popular lens. I think it is one of those "finds" lenses that are out there.

I believe this shot is at 17mm. f4 at 1/60 iso 640. B/W and cropped in pp.

The main "rap" on this lens is the lack of constant 2.8 which the Canon alternative has. But this lens can be had used for around $200 if you can find someone willing to sell.
