Stupid 450D you see... :p

...you need to upgrade to a 5D classic (it's 3 years old and still an upgrade... it's that good) ;)

I don't know... I may go for something like a 50D instead just because of the Microfocus and better AF.

Yeah, that Microfocus adjust sure is great. :)

I read the same thing can be done (in similar means) if you send your body and lens to Canon and have them do it (non-microfocus models only).

I should be done with my test shots no later than tomorrow. Nothing fancy, but it's a typical routine I do when it rains or just don't feel like to shoot outside. It turns out good so far.

I'm tired of rain..

Yeah, Canon can calibrate your body/lens. I'm not sure how much it costs though..

I think it must be free within warranty (in Hong Kong they're only interested in seeing your receipt, not the warranty card. Though they can check when it was sent to the shop and check the warranty that way).

Just complain about it constantly not focusing right etc.

:)

That will do, but not when they can't reproduce the problem.

Not if it's sharp. Couldn't hurt to test it out though. I thought my 200 2.8L was sharp (and it was, it was the sharpest lens I have). Then I tried calibrating the AF. It got even sharper.

I was telling slr_noob about this. It's so awesome to make a sharp lens sharper. :)

My 50 1.4 and 24-105 didn't need adjusting. :)

I just went to Kinefoto and Citicall to check some prices.

_______________Kinefoto...Citicall
16-35 2.8 II.........$11600.....$11600
70-200 2.8L IS .....$13200.....$13990

The other day, we priced the 70-200 2.8L IS at $11900 in C2 (Coxwell) in Mong Kok.

Do you think that's the grey market price?! If so, I don't care, still cheaper than a 2nd hand one!
