Casual Shot Of A Surfer From The East Coast

Took this of a friend with the help of the late afternoon sun as it was starting to set. I am hoping to do more shoots with her later on. She is also a track coach and one heck of a pole volter, think I got that right. She called this her Blue Steel look. Was just a very candid shot, but it came out cool with the lighting. Love this. It's simple, sharp, and the lighting was perfect for this type of shot. I think it would also be a good candidate for many different commercial ads.

Great shot. The only thing at all off is her expression, which shouldn't be an issue if you had the opportunity to shoot a series of pics with her.

The top is clipped a little too close to the top of her head for my taste, but it's a very quality image.
