I know this isn't exactly photography related, but Surefire makes some great (but expensive) flashlights.

I have an E2D Defender light and the belt clip snapped off so I emailed customer service inquiring about buying a new clip.

I have an email back in 14 minutes asking for my address and telling me they'd send me one free of charge. Talk about great service!!! I'm now a loyal Surefire customer.

I have an E2D that I carry every day and the glass has cracked...I wonder if it'd be worth contacting them.

Hopefully you will have better luck with them than I did. The clip broke off of my L1 Lumamax, I emailed them asking about buying a replacement and they quickly replied to me asking for my info so they could send me a new one. That was 18 months ago and I never received the replacement. I emailed them a couple times to see if maybe it got lost or something but they never replied to me again. Great light though.

I'm not a loyal Surefire customer.

Hopefully you mean "I'm NOW" a loyal customer.

I love their products. Got three different ones, two LED versions and the old standby kryptonite bulb. Too bad L lenses aren't made with such quality, or Canon can't emulate their service.

I've been a customer of theirs for many years. I also find that they offer the CR123 Batteries for a lot cheaper than almost anyone else.

I actually have 4 SureFire lights and love them. They're bright. I used to buy batteries from the local Walmart, but found an online place that was MUCH cheaper.
