Help! how do I check ink levels on iP4600 printer?

For my ip4000, the utility program will check, which allows you to clean jets, etc. Ordinarily I do not bother to check with that program, as the levels are displayed with a notification when any color gets low...the printer can do a lot of printing before 'low' turns into 'empty' for that color, so when it first appears it is simply a notification the need to buy ink if you don't already have some on hand when the tank is truly empty.

When you have finised installing Canon Software you will see a Icon on your
desktop that's called: Canon Solution Menu.

There you can find all the info about the printer and also the info about the ink
levels from the inkcarttridges.

I have the same printer and I'm very happy. I'ts printing outstanding pictures
and it cosumes very little ink.
