Spring has come to Michigan & mom is verry happy. Her flowers are coming out!

lovely back lighting coming through on the daffodils heads

they have have all died here now so it's very nice to see these

I'm glad you liked them. It was nice to see something in the landscape besides white! ;)

sometimes something happens the computer screen by day

the pictures never look so good as they do at night time
and that has happened the beautiful daffodils here

I know just what you mean! That's why, when you calibrate the monitor, it's done in the light that you ALWAYS work under. Otherwise, the results may be off when you make prints or when other people look at them. There's so much to remember, isn't there?! ;)

I thought I had :confused:
anything else I should know ?
they (photographs on the forum) look ok today
yesterday alot of the pictures , all over , looked fairly dull

could it just be a bad day ?

for computers in general :rolleyes:

I've had days like that. In fact, I'm about to have one today - I was going to cut my grass, but they've predicted up to 6" of snow tonight!

I have my computer in a room with the windows heavily draped so no outside lights get in & the environment remains constant. Try this, look at a pic at night with the room lights turned on. Then turn them all off. See a difference?
Also, monitors "age" & change, so it's recommended that you recalibrate your monitor about once a month. Some people do it every day! (Way too picky for me!) ;-)a

Nice shot but how is the flowers surviving the snow!! Love the michigan weather 85 one day and 30 with snow 3 days later
