Apr 22, 2005 20:30 | #5 sometimes something happens the computer screen by day I know just what you mean! That's why, when you calibrate the monitor, it's done in the light that you ALWAYS work under. Otherwise, the results may be off when you make prints or when other people look at them. There's so much to remember, isn't there?! FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

Apr 23, 2005 07:59 | #8 rain here may not help Frank I've had days like that. In fact, I'm about to have one today - I was going to cut my grass, but they've predicted up to 6" of snow tonight! FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...

In fact, I'm about to have one today - I was going to cut my grass, but they've predicted up to 6" of snow tonight! I have my computer in a room with the windows heavily draped so no outside lights get in & the environment remains constant. Try this, look at a pic at night with the room lights turned on. Then turn them all off. See a difference? Also, monitors "age" & change, so it's recommended that you recalibrate your monitor about once a month. Some people do it every day! (Way too picky for me!)
snow again regards, Marie
