Thanks, Robert.

Marie, how did the test go?

not sure if I noticed any difference Frank
I seemed to see them the same in the dark (on screen) as with the light on .

the flowers look great to me now, in the daylight ,
as they did really ever since I mentioned about it

maybe my eyes need calibrating:lol:

Thanks Frank

glad your mother can enjoy them still

Probably too much time in between. Try this in PS: Hit the F key twice & the Tab key once. Look at the pic & hit the F key to cycle between the black background & the gray one. You should see a slight difference in how the pic appears. (not much!) It's sort of the same thing that I think is causing your "something happens the computer screen by day" problem.

Thank you, LadyHawk! While I did fudge (technical term!) the lighting, that's just the way they were growing. I'm glad that everyone enjoyed them.

Yep, once a post slips beyound about the 3rd or 4th page, chances are it's gone, unless someone runs across it and it really strikes a cord with them.

I like how the darker background lets the yellow of the Daffs stand out. Maybe a little diffused lighting would have helped (I carry a 12" Lite Disc diffuser with me that folds up to about 4") but still excellent color. I have a hard time getting down that low anymore... well, it's easy getting that low, but it's hard getting back up. :D

Sorry, PS = PhotoShop. Hit any F key you can find on your keyboard! ;-)a

Afterthought. You don't need the "Tab" key to see similar results, but I think it helps to remove the distractions.

Thanks Jay, & mjordan.
