C&C please. More picky, more learning :)

#1 Baby shot:
I liked how the baby was looking sideways so I left some space to create interest.

#2 Bee:

#3 Father and son:
This is a candid photo and was taken very quickly :o The moment I saw how the father was looking into the baby's eyes I felt how much his father must have loved him, and hence decided to quickly snap it. Fortunately that feeling is captured, at least it feels that way to me.

#4 Sunset silhouette

#5 Cat (his name is Faith he is a Scottish Fold)
I love this shot because of the strong and fierce look. When I took this shot he was actually very sleepy and hence had his eyes half closed LOL. Faith is very cute and friendly, but this shot shows a different expression. If theres any cat lover I'd be more than happy to share more haha.

I'm not a professional, but I like the bee, great shot and color. I also like the shot with the father & son, but I wish there were no people in the background as they appear to be a distraction.

Don't like the background in #1.
#2 just a bit soft on the focus of the bee itself.
#3 I like the people and setting gives it more of a "moment in life" feeling rather than a setup shot. My fav of the series.
#4 Just doesn't do anything for me. Don't even know how to respond to it.
#5 IMO best technical shot of them all. Might play with colors in your curves tool to lesson some of the overbearing pink tinge.

#1: The orange works a treat, and the baby's gaze is captivating - ambiguous enough to invite speculations, some that would be credible for an adult with such an expression being incongruous for a baby. Exposure's excellent.

#2: It's a little bit left leaning, works in with the bee clinging on at that angle to make the grip look tenuous. Will be interesting if you get your hands on a dedicated macro lens one day.

#3: Agree about the father's expression, but equally taken with the boy's far-away gaze and alert uprightness... they make for an interesting contrast in attention and feeling.

#4: I seem to have gone off silhouettes recently... (flowers too)... I think a certain fatigue sets in critiquing pictures so much! :-). This is fine, but very much two-layered.

#5: Also found Faith's look fierce. Nice contrast with the eyebrows catching the light and the eyes in shadow. Sharp in all the right places. I like the tight framing too... emphasises the expression. +1 for the cat lover's list, though I partake sans responsibility - mainly when visiting family ;-)a.

Cheers, Tony

I actually, personally, like the silouette shot very much.
