I have tested 6 copies now, and still have one besides the 50L, just for fun, and never had any problems with any of those 6. Usable at F/1.8, good at F/2, very sharp at F/2.2. EOS R & EOS 5 (analog) with a gaggle of primes & 3 zooms, OM-D E-M1 Mk II & Pen-F with 10 primes, 6 zooms, 3 Metabones adapters/speedboosters, and an accessory plague

I hang on to it, if I'm in some lens dangerous situation. I won't feel bad if it gets damaged. I hardly ever use it, but I must admit, it did take one of the best portraits of my son.
