New to digital photography and have been lurking here for a bit. This is my first image post.
Please tell me what I can do to improve.

I have CS3 and if this were my shot, I would run a noise removal action I have, then sharpen it with some USM on one or two of the color channels. Maybe clone out the turd. Mitch- ____...^.^...____

Shot with a Xsi and Promaster 70-300 lens F stop 5.6 ISO 400 and Shutter 400 metering was center weighted. I believe the spot you see by his feet is a sunflower hull. All I did was used USM (unsharp mask) and then used Neat Image (http://www.neatimage.com/ As you can see, it makes quite the difference in a picture! Marco
