It's a great Red Belly pose. What image editing software do you use? I have CS3 and if this were my shot, I would run a noise removal action I have, then sharpen it with some USM on one or two of the color channels. Maybe clone out the turd. :)

You sure got a good shot of him though. We have many of these in our park that are almost hand holding tame, but the pair that come to my yard are still very skittish and hard to get in any natural pose.

Very nice! I might crop a bit off the left, but fine as is.

Thanks for the comments.
Shot with a Xsi and Promaster 70-300 lens
F stop 5.6 ISO 400 and Shutter 400 metering was center weighted.

I believe the spot you see by his feet is a sunflower hull.

The PP was with Elements 7 and I just cropped it and sharpened it a bit.

BTW, Welcome to the forum Tom!

If you turn on "IMAGE EDITING OK" I can show you what a little more PP and using Neat Image can do to your picture.

Great shot Tom.

I am with Marco above - this capture is a perfect candidate for a trip through some noise reduction software - it would make that green out of focus portion silky smooth and make your already great photograph that much better.

Ok Tom, here it is....

All I did was used USM (unsharp mask) and then used Neat Image (http://www.neatimage.com/ (external link)) there is a free demo to try out.

As you can see, it makes quite the difference in a picture!

Thanks Kenny :)

One last one..... I cloned out the poo/sunflower hull that distracts from the picture. Hope this helped :)
