Hmmm. Not sure if I'm alone on this one or not.... college math instructor for 16 years. Not the greatest pay, but I get 3 months off every summer, and one month off at Christmas. Gives me time to go shoot things (with the camera, that is.)

I wish I could have 4 months off in a year;) ;)

I wish you could tell me why your drivers leave packages on my front porch and never ring the doorbell even though I am at home. And why so late? Usually between 8-9 p.m.

Dont want to get too off topic here but I always specify signature required upon delivery. This was only after they left a $1000 package sitting at my side door. By the was Maureen I love the wedding shots you did.

Now back to the topic at hand

I am a union electrician in NyC..... that is when they have enough work. Part time photographer and transporter for a adult entertainment company.

I am an attorney at law and work for an agency of the local county government. I also have a part time, "hobby" job at the public radio station doing announcing and taking care of the technical chores. Many years ago I was chief photographer for a local television station. I'm not sure which was more fun, although, I get to stay dry and warm during the winter doing my present job.

Ouch... :D

Seriously. I am not an impressionable person, but I can't do that. I really admire you folks that have both the guts and the charity needed for that job. Congratulations.

I am a Commerical Diving/Marine Construction Contractor. Started as a Navy Diver, followed by about 15 years offshore oilfield and construction diving (mostly overseas) before starting my company. Recently re-awakened an old interest in photography. This forum has helped me get up to speed fast with my 20D. My kids are into sports, and I love the challenge of sports photography. Look out Gmen!

There was some earlier discussions from divers in this thread. They might enjoy this shot taken by an inspection diver while I was burning damaged plating from the bottom of the Exxon Valdez in Alaska a few years back.

Every diving or marine project is a little different----the variety keeps it interesting.
