You should try wider bracketing to bring the color back into the sky. | Rebel XSi | EF-s 18-55 f/3.5-5.6 IS | EF 50 f/1.4 | EF 70-200 f/4L | Speedlight 199A |

HDR is meant to capture a range of colors that normally cannot be captured in just one shot. Definately bracket next run.

Successfully processed the shot? you either need to re-process, or reshoot with the shots bracketed further out. Hi all, Thanks for the comments. BillBoehme Enjoy being spanked More info | The sky is very light, but not blown out. I can see blue sky and clouds and there is no clipping on the histogram. The image has a soft overall blur which is being caused by using a non-standard pixel aspect ratio. The image can be made much sharper by simply correcting the aspect ratio to 1:1. Non-standard pixel aspect ratios are normally only used for previews and otherwise should be set to unity. Atmospheric haze in images? Click for Tutorial to Reduce Atmospheric Haze with Photoshop.

As beegeeboy says, just need to keep tweaking the settings. Every HDR package and algorithm is different, and results can vary from image-set to -set, so often it's a trial and error process. Cheers, Tony 5D and too much glass. Mamiya 645E.
