18 month old Kayden

This is my brother's girlfriend's baby boy, Kayden. She had him before she met my brother and the real father ditched her, but my brother has been a wonderful caregiver so far :]

For me, the 2nd shot is the best.

I'd recommend that you choose the aperture with care when shooting babies. For example, in the 3rd shot, the right eye is out of focus while the left eye and cheek are perfect - and show off what a star he is!

If both eyes had been in focus, that would have been the winner, IMHO.

I was trying to use a higher aperture but we were in the car and my shutter speed was already really low. If only mini vans had sun roofs, then life would be so much easier!
