Trying a little off camera flash using two speedlights, one straight on and the other is right and behind:

A beautiful shot of a great model -- just wish the bucket behind to the left of her image wasn't there....

I also would like to know what sort of modifier was used if any...

Lovely image. You may consider burning in that bucket. It kinda catches your eye. Otherwise, love that image.

I think you shot looks very nice, though perhaps a little over lit. As a variationI would have tried to include a sense of the ambient light or softened the light by using a shoot through umbrella reducing the background to main light ratio.

Nice work though.

Thanks guys for the comments and good input!

No modifiers used, I just used two cheap old Canon 200 speedlite flashes on stands. I moved them around until I got the light I liked. The strobist stuff is a new area for me and can be challenging...so much so that I missed seeing that bucket!!

Have a great day!

Interesting. My eye was drawn to the bucket as well. Then I looked at the rest of the frame - the jeans with a slight smudge on the right knee, the greenery in the background, the indistinguishable "stuff" in the right portion of the frame along with the peonies and the look of the model ( for you veterans, think Elly Mae Clampett) and I immediately envisioned a nice little farm in the midwest. I was almost expecting a piglet to wander into the frame at any moment.

Nice shot. What lens were you using for this shot?
