College Baseball, C&C please

I've been taking the XSi and the 70-200 to some of the recent baseball games and shooting from the stands. I know that I could have better shooting opportunities from other places in the stadium, but I'd need a press pass for that.

I'm posting a few of my good shots and the link to my photobucket account. Just give me some feedback and tell me what you think, and what I should do to improve. I know the colors are off on some of the pics, but I used two different programs to process the photos. I've switched to DPP now, and most are from it. Thanks guys.

I'll take the obvious and go with.. the 2nd picture.. his jersey is the wrong color...the rest seem the right shade of purple...and I still hate the look of the turf "dirt" infield.

Ok, I did another edit on 2 and 4 with DPP to make them closer to the rest.

#1 - you'd be surprised how many great baseball shooters shoot from the stands all the time because they love the angle it gives.

#1a - (first image) - little bit too early, runner back farther and ball more in the frame would help as you could crop out dead space.

#2 - lotta dead space on the side, why?

#3 - dead space again...

#4 - rarely see this point in the batters swing used, it is though in some instances, but again very rare.

I'd work on your timing a little bit. Even machine gunning the latest and greatest can be too slow for the fast speeds of baseball.

+1 on that also your colors seem to be off and your pictures are soft imo
