ISO6400 1/160 f4 (Was just testing ISO6400) ISO3200 1/1000 1/1.2 (Again...just messing around..hence the 1/1000 shutter at ISO3200. LOL!)

edrader "I am not the final word" More info | May 10, 2009 11:02 | #8 nicksan wrote in post #7893122 Ed, Difficult to say to be honest b/c of the resizing of the 21MP image at least perceptively reduces noise even more. So all I can say is at least within MY workflow considering resizing and comparing against the 1DMKIII, I feel I have definitely gained a little on the ISO front. Shooting in ISO 3200 does not concern me in the least bit. And shooting in ISO6400 feels like ISO3200 on the 1DMKIII. The AF on the 1DMKIII continues to kick some major arse...and I am sure once the novelty of the 5DMKII wears off, I will use each based on task at hand. Easier said than done...since I tend to go with the camera with the best IQ. The 1DsMKIII is truly the best of both worlds isn't it Ed? ![]() ![]() -Nick i think so at iso 1600 and below. i know FF has grown on me alot more than when i had the original 5d but that could be because i've discovered UWA and i'm sure the extra resolution doesn't hurt either http://instagram.com/edraderphotography/

More info | May 10, 2009 14:57 | #11 I don't shoot a lot of low light, but that second shot you posted, aside from being a very nice shot, also displays some wonderful characteristics of the lens. I think the 24LII is calling my name. Perry | www.perryge.com
