Unfortunately, railpictures, which is a site I try to have a few of my shots hosted on rejected all 3 of them for it being cloudy. I already sent in an appeal for it.

I tried cropping the images in such a way that the bland sky wouldn't fill too much of the frame without it being unbalanced. My subject fills most of the frame with the vibrant colors of the trees making up for the bland conditions.

It seems they prefer hosting images nowdays where it is sunny with all 9 planets aligned.

the 2nd one is a little too dead on, but the first one should not have been rejected.

Second shot is great. Post your train shots here where they are appreciated. Railpics and most of the similar sites all want one boring photo....perfect weather and the train aligned in a perfect angled wedge...originality and interesting content score no points on those sites.

Unless it's something nostalgic... Then they'll approve whatever it is.

Great shots.
