I suppose its partly because I'm in a smaller market but I seem to see only entry level lenses on Craigslist. Is that pretty common? Is the higher end stuff being sold elsewhere?

runninmann what the heck do I know? More info | May 10, 2009 19:08 | #2 Here in Detroit, there is almost always good stuff for sale. A 1D MK II just showed up today. I got my Metz 58-af flash and Sekonic L-358 off CragsList. The guy who I got the flash from was also selling a 24-105 L.

Mostly see Rebels and entry-level lenses. There are a lot of photographers here, so I'm guessing most are selling their stuff on forums.

Craigslist has been good to me thus far. However, I have been receiving e-mails from scamming buyers, so be careful.

May 11, 2009 13:44 | #15 I'm using CLGenie. How do you structure your search? Lets say I'm looking for any lenses for a Canon (but not necessarily Canon brand, could be a Sigma). Would you setup multiple searches? Olympus OMD E-M10 | Olympus 25 f/1.8 | Olympus 45 f/1.8 | Olympus 75 f/1.8 | Olympus 9-18 f/4-5.6 | Olympus 14-42 f/3.5-5.6 | Olympus 40-150 f/4-5.6
