I've been leaning towards another large purchase. Either a 5DMKII or the EF 500mm f/4 . Well my wife was leaning over my shoulder while I was web searching prices for the 500mm. I showed her the price and she said go for it. I have to ask myself now why I haven't. I still can't bring myself too.

i know the exact feeling but i also know for guys like us going for it is a process, not an event ;).
