I've just scanned a few negatives of my first roll of Ektar 100. I must say I find the grain pattern a bit odd. It almost seems like noise reduction compared to scanning kodachrome, velvia, Fuji 100, reala, fuji 160's. And I apply no dust/grain/noise removal when I scan film.
The resolution and sharpness is very good, though the ones I've scanned were not wide angle small aperture so the area in focus isn't huge so I can't judge sharpness and resolution over the entire negative.
Somehow I feel kodak's new 400 b+w that is said to be as sharp as TMX100 will end up scanning the same way showing the same grain pattern.
