Here are some spring shots from Middle Cove , Newfoundland , Newfoundland & Labrador. Now if only the rest of the province would warm up!

I think i might have used a bit too much tone mapping in these shots. ive got a tone mapping complex when it comes to Landscapes.

Nice setting but IMHO the tonemapping as left the images looking quite flat. To me none of these images looks as though HDR was required.

Have you try DRI before?

These are not HDR just adjusted to make the colours pop out a bit. I find when taking photos in the winter/early spring when their are no colours you have to try and draw the colours out a little more. Yes i have tried DRI.


And for anyone wondering that is an Iceberg in the last shot.

Matthew, I visited NL in 2006, including a drive through Middle Cove. Unfortunately, no icebergs that summer. Thanks for bringing back good memories of that trip.
