Just experimenting with a photo of my daughters prom. I wanted to shoot outdoors but with 45 mph winds and rain I had to make do inside. CC welcomed.

I like #1. I think your white balance is off on number 3.

I am a new here, just bought XSi yesterday. I have read through the instruction manual but I am very confused.....F stop, Av, etc. what?? So, instead I thought I'll ask you guys who are more experienced in SLR for help :)

I like #3 better actually. Will you tell me what setting you used for that photo? Thanks.

The eye on the left is just way too fake. Other than that, nice shot.

Too much skin PP for me, and I would dial down the teeth slightly! But great shot

Not sure what could be fake as her eyes were not edited at all? Thanks for commenting.

No skin smoothing done, the slight blurring is from the editing of the photo. I've been playing around in photoshop to get different effects and was interested in what others thought...I'll have to correct the teeth, thanks for pointing that out to me.
