Ok…bit of a strange one, but I don’t want to buy from the wrong seller.
Canon are currently offering £40 cashback on the SX200 IS.
http://www.canon.co.uk/maypowershot/index.asp
.
My problem / query is the following statement in their T&C’s
“This promotion is only available on purchases of the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS, SX10 IS, SX200 IS or SX110 IS (the “Promotion Products”) in the UK or Republic of Ireland from any participating retailer.”
How do I know what a “participating retailer” is? Jessops are heavily advertising the fact that you can claim back £40 through them, but they are £20 more expensive than Amazon.co.uk.
If I buy this camera through amazon will I not be eligible to claim the cashback from canon?
I am leaning towards the Canon (rather than the Panasonic TZ7) due to the manual features, and the fact that I always use them on my Canon SLR.
Any help is appreciated.
