Technically, they're good shots... however... they don't really stand out from what anyone else could do with the same equipment. They're pretty much perfectly centered, and there's no interesting composition. In fact, you have some cars that are cutoff, which may look cool to the casual viewer who thinks to themselves "OMG look how close the shot is", but a team / magazine can't use shots like that because they don't tell the story too well. Sometimes, the better "story" is told by zooming out, or shooting wide.
As i've heard before... you have to "learn" the rules of photography in order to be good enough to break them. You've LEARNED how to expose well and pan with the shot, now you need to work on breaking them and telling stories.
