Lewis's Woodpecker Again

My Lewis's Woodpeckers showed up again yesterday. There were actually three of them getting frisky. I think it was two males viying for the attention of this little lady.

Because he was one of "Lewis and Clark!" Is that not enough? :)

The Lewis's Woodpecker, Melanerpes lewis, is a large North American species of woodpecker which was named for Meriwether Lewis, one of the explorers who surveyed the areas bought by the United States of America during the Louisiana Purchase.
