This time I was asked by my sister's-half-sister to do some family pictures. These were the few that I liked enough to share lol.. These were done with some quick PP some include her brother in them as well. I really need to find a new location to shoot at.. i'm getting bored with the gardens. I'm not one for posing people.. so once again it felt awkward shooting people that weren't natural (candid) for me.

I like #8b the best of the 8's :) I think the most flattering shots of them are when they are standing. I love her dress!

Are the angles and editing okay or should I still work with them a bit (or are they hopeless)? I am really trying to learn to get people in positions.. with them they kinda placed themselves.. I tried to get them in a few other ways, but they basically ignored me (whatcha get for working with family I guess lol).

I think you did well, my few nit-pics are shot #6 the guy's legs it's not appealing to shot strait on when positioned like this, try to have them pose legs dif. or try a little bit of a different angle.... and try not to chop off hands and feet.

Correct me if I'm wrong and I probably am because I don't know much about this, but, wouldn't your sister's half-sister also be your half sister?

I don't think so.. see my sister is also my half sister (we have same mom different dads) and her half-sister (the one I shot) they share the same dad but different moms.. (very confusing).

I have some full shots of them (legs showing and all), but they aren't that great.. I was trying to avoid from getting in trouble by the gardens ordinance (no standing/walking on fountains or in flower bushes).. oops lol

Good pictures. IMO, 6 is a little awkward with the way he is sitting.
