Popham enjoyment

Hi All

Its been a while since I had any aviation to contribute but we went to the Popham airfield on the 4th May and out of the bunch seen here are a couple to share.

Not sure what each of these aircraft are but for me it was be able to see the passengers especially the child in the first one, looked like real enjoyment of the moment on the face.

Conditiokns were pretty poor and the takeoff 'line' meant a bad backdrop to the shots but heh you take what you are given.

I like it. It shows how low they are & adds to the feeling of motion.

#1 makes me smile...Nothing like the wonder of a child! It may not be technically perfect but who cares, it is a wonderful shot. Perhaps you should consider printing that one and go stick it on the windshield of the plane. I'll bet that kid would love to have it. (Maybe notify security first)

Ref the background, yes the trees are good but a good few have the BP station signage and the Little Chef eatery signage from across the carriage way of the major road just the other side of the trees

@neumanns - I am unsure how many aircraft were just visitors so offering a print by your method coudl be difficult

Great panning shots. #1 stands out more for me but I think that is mainly due to the background as there is more contrast in the colours
