Great picture of the Leopard in the tree. Were you using the 400/5.6??

Yes the 400mm f/5.6 is my main lens, so all the images you see here were taken with it.
The leopard shot was very difficult cause light was very poor that moment and the fact that the animal was resting on a tree deep inside the forest canopy made my job even harder. I do remember that I had to put ISO1000 on my 40D camera in order to achieve a decent shutter speed of 1/40sec.
A beanbag was used too...I don't think that I would have any chance of a sharp shot without it.

Thanks for the positive comments!

Teo

Love this series. I so wish I could do a trip to Africa. A co-worker just went and came back with fantastic images.

Great series of shots. Look like you kept busy. Really like the elephant and bird image.

Awesome shots, the first shot of the last two you posted is Incredible. At first i looked at it and was like thats neat some grass and then i was like wait there has to be more and there was. Awesome work

I also thing some minor adjustments in curves in photoshop would make that image pop so much more and i think it really could help.
