I am wondering what a fair price for a used 1Ds Mk 1 would be.
I don't see any recent sales in the B/S forum...does anyone know what price a camera like this should command?

thanks,
Chris

I think I recall seeing them go for about $1000-$1100. Did you check the sell forums at Fred Miranda?

I did not check FM...things go so fast there, it is not on my normal list of places to stop anymore.
thanks for the reminder Tom!

And thank you both for the suggestion. The local price is around $1000, but I don't have a shutter count yet, so I am still evaluating.

thanks again.

I sold mine, a bit scruffy-looking but perfectly working, for $800.-. A clean-looking boxed/complete one is very likely to set you back $1,000.- and I don't think that's expensive.
