Yep, looks like a night shot. Good composition on the diagonal, but overall, the subject is not very interesting. I am curious, however, about what caused that curiously textured amber streak. Perhaps a rotating light?

I had a hard time figuring it out when I first looked at it on the monitor hahahaha.

It was caused by the bus, a double-deck bus, the yellow streak is its number, and what is interesting is that it was a new bus, with the new "LED style" display screen fitted at front. My guess is that it was probably flickering at a constant frequency, instead of being like the traditional "constant on" light bulb, which created the pattern.

One of the best such shots I've seen recently. I'd crop the top... more interesting to put the lower of the two bright-blue lines disappearing into the corner. Cheers, Tony

I like it..England??

I think it would have been more effective if you had caught the bus going round the corner, instead of the lights stopping during the exposure.

Awesome shot though.. I need to do more of these :)

Ah, and a new photographic genre is born. Mark the date. Painting with LEDs. I've noticed a stroboscopic effect with the new LED-based tail lights in cars.

I like this shot, can I ask if you used a tripod?
