I need some help here in deciding which tripod / mount to purchase for a 500mm f4. If possible post the picture along with the make/model number.

Thanks

Jon H

Here's what I had when I had my 500L

Gitzo GT3530 Tripod
Kirk BH-1 Ball head
Wimberley Sidekick
Kirk Replacement Foot (Lighter and longer with safety stops)

This set up was AWESOME, the lens truly is weightless once you have it get in the Sidekick properly.
