Ebay link here (external link). With live cash back it comes out to about $1400 shipped. They are an authorized dealer as well.

You could also do what one member suggested and go through ebates.com for an additional 3% cb.

Edit: nvm everything is sold. But check back periodically because they usually have it lower than most other sellers on ebay. Last week it was $1499 and a member on here snatched it up so keep an eye out.

True, I have had an excellent buying experience with these folks for my 70-200L. Got my live.com cash back instantly and have another 3% pending in my ebates.com account to get paid out on May 15th to my paypal account.

P.S. There are currently 3 available on their listing here: http://cgi.ebay.com …%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A30 (external link)

I'm thinking about getting this, was hoping that live cash back would go up... But it seems stuck at 8%.

You can go to live.com and sign up for an account. You can add your paypal account for them to transfer the cash back to or just have them send you a check. When buying something, you can go to live.com, search for the item, and buy it from one of the sponsored site or just go to ebay. It usually tells you how much cash back you might be eligible for (e.g. 8%, 10%, 14%, up to about 35% or so). It's going to take too long to type out in complete sentences so I'm just going to "bullet point" the steps below.

-click on the ebay link and you should see the cash back icon on the top
-search for the item you want (there should be a coin icon next to it to qualify)
- click on "buy it now" tab and purchase any of those items with the coin icon. You can only earn cash back if you do buy it now.
-complete the transaction via paypal
-go to your ebay account, read the email you've just received and log in to your live account

Note- on every step there should be a little box that tells you if and how much you will get back. I think max per transaction is $200.

Courtesy of Jesse Webb: You can earn an additional 3% by signing up with ebates.com. After going to ebay, search, add the item to your watch list, go straight to ebates, search for "ebay", click on the ebay link, buy the item from your "watch list" and complete the steps mentioned above.

I understand that everyone wants the best deal but sometimes it's just not worth it to wait so long. Sometimes it could actually end up costing more if you wait too long. You would also have to check everything everyday and it's a hassle. For me, I decided on a reasonable price that I want to spend with all the resources available (rebates, cash back, etc.) and if I can get it for around that price I would just jump on it. Of course I would like to save another $40-50 but the time that I could be out shooting is worth more.

Yup- I was going to buy it from J&R.com but since they don't have it in stock and I can get it for about $27 cheaper from the imaging world, I just went for it. Obviously if the imaging world raises the price I would go with J&R.

Here is the link for J&R's cash back (as well as other online retailers)- http://search.live.com …cope=cashback&FORM=CBSL03 (external link)
If you have B of A you can get 4%. cash back by shopping with J&R.

Sorry! I didn't think that I was going to be able to purchase it... the Cashback logo didn't appear in my browser until after 9am.
