UP Locals after a hard days work

I used Dynamic Photo HDR on these two shots to stack 3 exposures (-2, 0 +2) EV. My goal was to bring out the shadow detail below the sill of the locomotives and on the cement plant, yet still show some detail in the sky without blowing it out totally. I was trying to avoid the garish HDR over processed look and keep it fairly realistic, but still with some pop. They were taken about 15-20 minutes after the sun went below the horizon. Here's the end result...

we have old UP engines down here, in weird UP Colored FEC paint jobs...

FEC purchased those engines from UP a few years back. Instead of repainting the whole engine, they just painted out the Union Pacific and replaced it was FEC lettering.
